Carlysle is a furniture and design house from Sacramento California. I worked with Carlysle to identify key opportunities for the brand, and developed a visual identity refresh. The project began with assets for a showroom pop-up, and extended to the much bigger task of refreshing the brand and giving it a better footing in the market through high quality visuals and messaging.
My relationship with Carlysle began with a to promotional posters for a showroom pop-up in Sacramento’s Display Annex. Inspired by mid-century designers Sol Lewitt and Frank Stella, these posters are a simple nod to the furniture made by Carlysle.
Carlysle was in dire need of new imagery that captured the true beauty and craftsmanship of the product. I worked with John to plan and execute product photography for the entire collection.
I established a a direction for the Carlysle brand through research of past successes, the current marketplace, core values, and more. With this direction guiding our decisions, the project is now moving into the branding phase.
Website and identity
