Ornot is cycling apparel brand dedicated to minimal design, domestic manufacturing and having fun on the bike. They have been designing apparel in San Francisco and selling internationally since 2013. I played many roles at this small brand including strategy, design, photography, and marketing.

Creative Strategy

Developed and maintained a brand image through consistent imagery, messaging, and product design. Building the brand into an internationally recognizable player in the cycling apparel market meant establishing a direction and sticking to it. Through the years I worked with our team to push the limits while maintaining our core brand elements.

Photography

Planned and executed the brand’s product photography, lifestyle photography, content photography and more. Photography was an important part of increasing the perceived value of the product, and the shopping experience. Through quality image creation, we were able to display the brand successfully across product pages, social media, and advertising networks.

Chris McNally

Ornot worked with San Francisco artist Chris McNally on a collaborative bag project. Working with the artist, we created a story about San Francisco riding that was made into a series of illustrations printed on a set of limited edition bike bags. I managed the partnership and created assets for launch and PR.

Spurcycle

In effort to raise awareness of MUSA brands, and California manufacturing specifically, Ornot teamed up with Spurcycle for a collaborative apparel project. I worked with the owners on creating the products, and executing the launch through photography, content, and advertising.

Stinner Collaboration

Ornot worked with Santa Barbara bike frame builder, Stinner Frameworks on two collaborative frames - a road bike for product photography and a cyclocross bike for the Ornot CX team.

Ornot Blog Content

Ornot used their blog to educate their audience on brand values, product features and company news. I worked with the team to organize, execute and, distribute the content on the website and through news sites and advertising.
